PAIN MANAGEMENT PHYSICIAN Nashville, TN

Position Overview
We seek a highly skilled and compassionate Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a wide range of interventional pain management techniques and is dedicated to providing the highest standard of patient care. This role involves diagnosing and treating chronic pain conditions, performing interventional pain procedures, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans. The standard shift for this position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Responsibilities:
-Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with chronic pain conditions.
-Develop and implement effective treatment plans using interventional techniques when appropriate.
-Perform minimally invasive procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural steroid injections, and radiofrequency ablations.
-Evaluate clinically appropriate candidates for neuromodulation and implant procedures.
-Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists and primary care physicians, to ensure holistic patient care.
-Educate patients about their conditions and the various treatment options available.
-Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
-Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in pain management and interventional techniques.

 

Qualifications
-Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
-Board-certification in anesthesiology/pain medicine/physical medicine & rehabilitation with completed pain management fellowship.
-Valid and unrestricted medical license or medical license eligibility in the state of Tennessee.
-Experience in interventional pain management techniques.

Position Compensation: beginning $550,000.00 annually

ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER
Tennessee locations

We are seeking a motivated, team-oriented, committed, and dependable team player to join our team! The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing chronic pain care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating patients. This individual will work closely with the physicians and other clinicians using a team approach to patient care.

Additionally, no call coverage + no phone triage with patients.  The Advanced Nurse Practitioner is responsible for seeing patients, locking notes within 48 hours, reviewing your drug screens + responding to the call center about your telephone encounters. No drama + no surprises!

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Assesses patient status by obtaining health history through patient/family interviews and chart reviews; assessing presenting illness, risk factors, and family history, psychosocial situation, and cultural factors; and performing appropriate physical examination. Order/perform appropriate laboratory diagnostic and other screening tests. Seeks other information as needed, including consultation with physicians and other clinicians, for evaluation of illness. Integrates data to determine a diagnosis and therapeutic plan, including identification of any health risks. Develops and implements treatment plans by prescribing/dispensing medications and/or injections in compliance with medical practice guidelines and state laws. Instruct patient/family regarding medications and treatments. Educates patients regarding health promotion/illness prevention. Communicates appropriate case management information to other professionals and community agencies. Prepares documentation for medical records, including updating patient medical charts by posting examination and test results, diagnosis, medications, and treatment in a written/computerized manner. Participates in peer reviews, chart reviews, staff education, clinical guideline development, and other continuing education and quality assurance activities to demonstrate compliance with standards, regulations, policies, and procedures. Acts as consultant/collaborator to the clinical team in the area of specialty. Complies with patient confidentiality requirements. Promotes patient advocacy. Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients. Provides monitoring and continuity of care between visits according to treatment plan, including triaging patient calls/e-mails.

 

EDUCATION: BSN, MSN. Successful completion of advanced practitioner training and certification as a practitioner (general or specialized) from an approved nurse practitioner program.

 

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1-3 three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting, plus one year of nurse practitioner experience preferred.

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Current state registered nurse license. Current state license as an advanced registered nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority. Current CPR certification.

 

SALARY: $95,000.00+ annually [plus monthly productivity bonuses]
